Ok Ok

So I haven´t put much up yet... Here is a rough summary of my last two weeks;

The first hostel I stayed at was in the centre of the city. It was noisy and I couldn´t sleep. During the day it also seemed to be en route for all the various protests that seem to happen. I don´t really know what they are about but the locals seem to enjoy them.

Elo turned up on the Friday I think and then my other friend Sam turned up on the Saturday. That was cool to see friendly faces; we went out and had a few drinks.

Sam and I found a quieter hostel in Palermo which is a neighbourhood out of the centre. Much more my style. Really relaxed owners and chilled. We also bought bikes for 40 quid each. I´m not sure mine is safe though as the bearings crunch all of the time. It´s nice to be able to roll about the city dodging the dangerous drivers.

So very few people speak English which was a bit of a suprise. I guess that´s my ignorance really to assume they would. I´ve been having some Spanish tutoring to try and gain a few sentences, but languages don´t come easy for me! haha
I have also been eating a huge amount of steak. The steak is absolutely amazing here, I will not be able to eat British beef again. It´s costs 5-6 pounds for an enourmous steak in a restaurant and almost nothing if you cook it yourself. I have eaten steak maybe five days out of the last seven. It´s that good.

So basically I have been eating well, trying to learn Spanish badly and going to parks to chill and relax in the mid thirties heat.

I´m going to stay in Buenos Aires until the new year I think and then probably go to Bariloche which is south in the lake district. I hope all is well back in England!
