After Tupiza I went to Sucre which was and still is my favourite city in South America. It has a realexed atmosphere about it and has nice buildings. I studied some more Spanish here as I liked the place so much. I stayed in this place and somehow got an apartment for 3 pound 50 per night

Breakfast most days was fruit salad at the market

I also found a Mr. Skinner lurking in the streets, we hung out for a few days before he set off for the jungle in Bolivia

I then went on to La Paz which is the capital of Bolivia. It's pretty freaking cold there... I turned up on a Sunday which also happened to be when there was some Cholita midget wrestling going on. I don't really know what to say about it but I probably wouldn't go again... oh and it basically ended in a riot. Only in Bolivia

Cholita's are the traditional women that live in Bolivia. So they found a midget Cholita and friend and chucked them in the ring to fight. Below, final fight starts with this shady character and his weapon of choice. Note that it looks suprisingly like a set of animal lungs and also that the gringos in the background find it quite amusing

This began the end of the riot that ended with the lungs being thrown into the crowd at the previously smiling gringos.

Road of Death, basically this road is pretty sketchy and has killed alot of people over the years although cars don't go on it anymore which is a good thing. Of course being in Bolivia, they made a tour to cycle down it. A really good ride actually. Above the clouds

This is the San Pedro jail in the centre of La Paz. There are tours that are done of the prison illegaly and as you can see here not so discretely either. Tourists stand outside every day waiting to be let in. I did this tour... I guess it was interesting but all went a bit wrong at the end as there were photographers outside wanting to take photos of gringos coming out of this illegal tour for the national papers. So we basically go stuck in the prison for an extra 3 hours or so, they even mentioned we may have to stay the night. We got moved around the prison towards different exits but the place was surrounded by reporters. They eventually let us out telling us we should tell the photographers to F-off and pretend we didn't speak Spanish (not so difficult for me...). They talked about this in the papers the next day and supposedly this was the last tour they were going to do due to the hassle that day. Not sure I believe that

Tour guide was Dutch... The tour ends as all do in the gift shop only it is different in this jail. I say no more, only that I didn't purchase anything
